I graduated from Fordham University (College of Business Administration)in 1976, with a degree in Marketing and Finance. I proceeded to obtain Real Estate Licenses in New Jersey and New York that same year but elected to head to the Banking Industry instead. In 1978 Citibank accepted me into their highly regarded Management Trainee Program and I immersed myself completely in an effort to learn all that was available to me at the time. I went through an extensive Credit and Lending Program, which on top of a fabulous experience and unmatched training, further ignited my interest in Real Estate. In 1981, having attained the position of Marketplace Manager and earning the Citibank President's Award for three consecutive years, for personal reasons, I made the very difficult decision to leave New York and subsequently relocated to Florida. Florida Banking, despite rising to the level of President/CEO/Director at Kislak National Bank, was far from fully developed when I finally exited in 1989. In 1983, as a side business, I formed a company (M.A.F.Interests, Inc.) that handled Financial Services such as Investments, Insurance, Mortgages, Consulting, and some Real Estate on a limited basis. This side company slowly but surely took hold of my attention and over the years gave me clarity and laid the course for me to follow. In 1987, I obtained my Florida Real Estate Sales License and in 1989, I followed that up by obtaining my Florida Real Estate Broker License. Once this was accomplished, I committed fully to pursuing Real Estate as a career that has since and continues to be a labor of love. In January of 1990, I founded M.A.F. Realty, Inc. as a full service Real Estate Firm and continue to dedicate myself wholeheartedly to the numerous Clients I've been privileged and honored to represent, the Industry as a whole, the Profession, and the high standards set forth by the National Association or Realtors (NAR). Throughout the course of the last three plus decades we have experienced basically every imaginable scenario as it relates to the sale and/or purchase of both residential and commercial properties. Without exception the focus has and will always be to satisfy the Client while operating within the guidelines of the Realtor Code of Ethics. While living in Broward County Florida (1998- 2006), I had the privilege of serving on both the Ethics Committee and the Professional Standards Committee of the Fort Lauderdale Board of Realtors. These assignments strengthened my integrity, solidified my principals and values, and ultimately led to the extremely high operational standards and practices subsequently being implemented, and to this day, still practiced at M.A.F. Realty, Inc. I'm a strong believer that every client is uniquely special and offers an opportunity for M.A.F. Realty, Inc. to showcase professionalism and operating standards that are second to none. On a personal side, I'm an avid jogger, enjoy participating in sports, traveling, reading, and most of all spending time with family and friends. Born and raised in Miami I've lived in paradise from the onset. I have a phenomenal and amazing family and a fabulous network of friends which is what essentially comprises and completes my paradise. Born into an entrepreneurial family, customer service and people skills are in my DNA. Growing up and spending countless hours within the Real Estate Industry, I loved following Dad (Broker/Owner of MAF) all over the place, and over time I came to learn the business from the foundation up. I recall numerous experiences throughout my childhood, many of which helped form and/or shape the professional that I've become. Very early on I developed a sincere passion for real estate and since then it has intensified year after year. While I realize that I can't change the world for everybody, at least not yet, I recognize that the right property can change somebody's world and that's a great start. I have an extensive background in Hospitality and very notable Property Management Experience (Residential and Commercial). I'm considered to have a natural propensity for customer service and the capability to intuitively know what type of property my client is looking for, even if they haven’t eloquently described it. Likewise, I've been recognized as having a keen ability to observe what the client’s needs are, and when combined with my unique ability to listen to their wants, has made me very popular with my clients. I've been known to pour myself completely into satisfying my client's goals as they relate to real estate purchases and sales, and I take great pleasure in consistently meeting and surpassing those goals. When I'm not in the office I'm pursuing another one of my passions as an avid traveler and adventure seeker who's been to 6 continents, 45 countries and counting, hiked the Himalayas to Mt. Everest Base Camp, drove my Jeep throughout the USA and Canada, backpacked Europe, and dove all over the 7 seas, to name just a few adventures. Finally, a favorite passion and a place where I love to spend time is playing with my 4 dogs, and most importantly, spending time with family. |

I moved to Miami in 1978, relocating from New York City where at the time I was employed with Citibank, N.A. (1970 - 1978). I was quite fortunate and managed to continue my Citibank, N.A. employment (Citibank Corporate) in Miami until 1986, and after a planned two year family leave, I returned to Banking with Suntrust Banks, Inc. (1988 - 1994). In 1994, I launched a career in the field of Human Resources and up through 2020, I excelled within the industry while working at a couple of Fortune 100 Companies and lastly, at Gulliver Schools, Inc., in Miami. Also in 1994, I obtained my Real Estate License and began a part/full time career in Real Estate as a Realtor with M.A.F. Realty, Inc. I have pursued this career since that time and have enjoyed a meaningful, challenging, rewarding, and oftentimes joyous career, particularly when representing the wonderful individuals I've met and represented over the decades. It's been a blessing and extremely gratifying meeting people who on many occasions have become more than clients, particularly those who have transitioned to friends who will remain in my life always. It's always been my goal to treat people honestly, respectfully, courteously, and kindly. I pride myself by giving my best when dealing with my clients and representing them to the best of my abilities while remaining fully focused on their goals and achieving them.
